Those looking to build a solid gaming rig or want to upgrade their current PC case will be happy with IN WIN’s gigantic GRone SECC Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case. Featuring plenty of space for all your components, lots of fans along with additional ports for optional liquid cooling to keep things frosty, loads of drive bays and more, this is a great case to make your PC dreams a reality.
If you have a gaming PC that could stand to use a little more room for adding more devices and keeping them cool when the action heats up, or if you’re looking to build one yourself and don’t know where to start, then IN WIN’s GRone will do nicely. It comes in two colors: all-white (which we were sent to review), and a gunmetal gray color for those who prefer things a bit more mysterious.
With a see through space on the side panel, the GRone is a full tower case that’s a whopping 22.1″ high, 9.6″ wide and 23.4″ deep, which should be more than enough space for just about any PC setup you wish to have. There’s a space on top where you can connect a hot-swappable 2.5” or 3.5” hard drive (your choice), while the front panel has a power and reset button, two USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, audio and mic jacks, and a sliding fan speed switch that allows the case fans to operate in “silence” and “turbo” modes. And speaking of fans, IN WIN has you covered on this one, as there’s a whopping five 120mm units included with the case. Featuring two on the top inside of the case, two behind the front panel and one in the back, each can be upgraded to a bigger 140mm fan if you really want to keep things cool. There’s also plenty of places to install more fans, such as on the side of the case under the motherboard (which supports E-ATX, ATX and Micro- ATX), one by the HDD cages, and a space on the bottom that also features dust filters to help keep the case clean on the inside.
And if that’s not enough, you can also remove the bottom HDD cage to make room for a 240mm water cooling radiator, or can install a 360mm one at the top. The case features ports for the cooling tubes as well, so that’s one less thing to worry about as you’re putting things together. This case gives you plenty to work with too, as it can hold up to eight 3.5” or 2.5” HDDs and has eight PCI-E slots that can support any 14.4” graphic card for all your storage and gaming needs.
Another nice feature with this case, is its toolless design that makes building and upgrading the case a breeze. Besides installing the motherboard and 2.5” drives into their sleds with tools, every other component can be installed or removed by simply pulling out/pushing in some pegs or by pinching/squeezing some levers that hold the fans, optical drives, and the front cover in place. This definitely helps to make things easier for any novice PC builder, and for those who just like having the ability to hot-swap their devices without much hassle.
While there may be bigger and fancier PC tower cases out there, IN WIN’s GRone SECC Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case sure does pack a lot into its gigantic frame and makes a great place to start for those novices looking to build a solid gaming rig, as well as an ideal solution for all diehard gamers looking to upgrade their current one. With plenty of headroom for your all devices, cooling options and tool-free installation for most of your components, this case will make your dream rig a reality – and with room to spare.
