SteelSeries continues to knock their awesome lineup of products out of the park with one of their latest releases, the SteelSeries QCK Performance Mouse Pad. Going back to the drawing board on their original QCK pads and reworking them to be better in every way, they’ve come up with a perfect variety of new ones to fit any kind of PC gaming style.
The company was awesome enough to send me the entire collection of their new mouse pads, and as soon as I unboxed the pads and could feel the difference between them, I knew these were going to be game changing, both figuratively and literally.
They’ve broken down their lineup into three categories for PC game players, Speed, Balance, and Control. These also come in two different sizes, large which is 19.3 x 16.5 x 0.13 inches, and extra large which is 35.4 x 16.5 x 0.13 inches for those who like most of their desk surface covered. They’re also just the right thickness at 3.5mm, and I love the low-profile fray-free raised edges on these.
Speed, as you might’ve guessed, is for those who like to zip their gaming mice around for lightning fast responsiveness, mainly for online competitive titles such as League of Legends where fast controls mean everything. This pad is made from a very low friction fabric to ensure your gaming mouse glides over it effortlessly
Balance is probably my favorite out of the three as it gives a mix of the slickness from the speed one while also combining some friction from the control mousepad. This one will most likely be SteelSeries’ best seller as it’s a perfect fit not only for gamers, but those who both work and play on their PC.
Lastly there’s the Control mouse pad that’s the complete opposite of the speed one where it’s made from a micro-texture material. This provides more than enough friction for gamers who like taking their time and making precise mouse movements, such as lining up the perfect head shot on Call of Duty.
I had fun using all of these mouse pads as it was nice to be able to swap one out for another depending on what game I was playing or whatever task I was working on. Another plus about these is that SteelSeries made sure they’re well made as their old QCK pads use to fall apart at the seams, literally, not long after use. That’s no longer the case here as these are made to handle any intense gaming session you throw at them, and I like the slightly raised edges that are also stitched together nicely.
If you’re looking for a great mouse pad for PC gaming or work, you’ll want to mouse over to your favorite retailer and pick up one of the SteelSeries QCK Performance Mouse Pad. Three speed options, two sizes to choose from, as well as featuring high-quality materials and stitching makes sure these pads will be the last ones you’ll need for gaming or work.
