As someone who does a fair amount of walking and bike riding, I’m always looking for the perfect clothes to suit everyday wear as well as double for any walking and biking I do. So when the chance came along to check out these Coalatree Trailhead Pants, I couldn’t pass it up as they’re a nice pair that’s perfect for everyday wear and any adventures that come your way.
When I first tried them on, they remind me of a comfy pair pajama pants, thanks to being made from a durable, water and wind resistant, antimicrobial material that’s also soft and stretchy like its waistband. This is especially handy for doing things that require flexibility, such as bending and stretching your legs when exercising, hiking and bike riding without having to worry about your pants coming down or heaven forbid, ripping.
There’s also some belt loops just in case you want to wear a belt or clip things to them, and there’s some handy draw strings on the ankle cuffs. I ended up tying them out of the way and rolling the ankle cuff up some to cover them, which was definitely needed when riding my bike as I didn’t want them getting caught in the chainring and such.
I also like that these pants have generous sized pockets, with two in the front and back. Because the pockets are so big, you can even fold the pants into one of the pockets should you need to tuck them away in your bag or backpack when travelling, or pull them out to wear over your shorts should the weather become rainy or cool.
Those who love supporting eco-friendly companies will be happy to know Coalatree is among them and made these pants from recycled materials and used vegetable based, fluorine-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating to waterproof these. Because of this, you’ll want to wash them in cold water and hang them up to air dry, which is what I figured once I saw and felt the material.
If you’re looking for some everyday pants that are up for anything you are, then look no further than the Coalatree Trailhead Pants. They’re soft, comfortable and stretchy to the point you’ll forget they’re on. Add in the fact they can handle anything from going to the store, to hiking and bike riding, you’ll soon find these to be your favorite go-to pants.
