I think I speak for most people when I say keeping your ears clean is something we don’t like to talk about or get into discussing too much, but we all know it needs to be done. This is especially the case for me as I have sensitive hearing and tend to produce cerumen aka ear wax more than the average person.
That’s where handy devices like the EarVision Complete Ear Cleaner come in handy, as it’s the perfect solution to keep not only your ears clean, but also a device the whole family, young or old can use as well.
Once you remove the main device from the packaging, you’ll see it’s a nifty Lazy Susan-like hub you can spin around and access three magnetically attachable pods. Each pod contains ear cleaning attachments for the Home 30S, one for men, another for women, and one for children.
The attachments include various scoops for wax removal, a guard that prevents the device from going too far into the ear canal, and more to make sure you have everything you need to clean your ears and keep them that way.
The main device itself fits snug inside the middle of the hub, which you press down on to make it pop up slightly for you to grab and use. Once you’ve downloaded the free app to your mobile device (I used my iPad), charged the EarVision Complete with the included USB-C cable, and connected it to your mobile device via Wi-Fi (Bluetooth isn’t fast enough to stream HD video), you’re all set to get cleaning.
I like how the neck of the camera is very flexible to make sure it can look around easily in your ear canal. It sends out a 720p video feed that is clear and easy to see thanks to the bright LED light on the camera. The picture is so bright and clear, that you’ll actually be taken aback at how it picks up all the details, from the hairs in your ear looking like giant tree stalks, to seeing the outside of your eardrum once you’ve cleaned up the gross looking cerumen.
Matter of fact, a nifty feature you can use is the ability to record a small video of the inside of your ear for remote healthcare purposes, and be able to let your doctor or healthcare provider have access to the video via the Bebird app.
I would’ve been more than happy if Bebird stopped right there, but they took things even further and added extra attachments such as tweezers, should anything be lodged in the ear canal, and a fluid dropper attachment for placing medicine or any other beneficial liquid in your ear such as tea tree oil and/or hydrogen peroxide that helps keep your ears clean and clear.
I also love how the device cleans itself after every use by emitting a blue UV light to burn away micro germs on the camera and device tip that ensures it’s ready for the next person to use without cross-contamination becoming an issue. You can also clean the scoop attachments with an alcohol wipe like I do, or something similar such as some light hand sanitizer on a paper towel to make sure it’s clean and ready at all times.
If you’re looking for something to keep yours ears clean, you’ll want to pick up the EarVision Complete Ear Cleaner as it has the whole family covered too. It’s easy, and I even dare say fun to use, and features multiple attachments and tools to make sure everyone that uses it gets the job done, all while keeping the device and themselves hygienic in the process.
