As always, I continue to be in awe at how Dreo continues to make hit after hit products after thinking I’ve seen all they can do. Their latest comes just in time for spring and summer weather with the Dreo Polyfan 704S Omni-Directional Oscillating Fan that brings quiet yet powerful air circulation that’s perfect for anytime of the year.
I’ll be honest and admit I didn’t think this fan would be as powerful as it is given its 9 inch size. But it literally blew me away once I turned it on and got a feel of its max wind speed of 7.9 meters a second with a max distance of 110 feet (though it feels like it goes further than that). This is all in part to Dreo’s bionic fan blade and grill design, as well as the awesome brushless motor powering it that’s as powerful as it is quiet, reaching only 51dB at max speed and 25dB on lower settings with nine speeds to choose from.
What really impressed me was the omni-directional oscillating feature the Polyfan 704S has, as it can move 120 degrees vertical and 150 degrees horizontal to make sure your air circulation needs are met and then some. You can also adjust the fan’s height from 37.5 to 42.5 inches high, as well as control the fan from the handy remote that comes with it, or other sources such as the Dreo App, Amazon’s Alexa, and Google Home.
There’s also different modes you can set such as the standard normal mode where you adjust the air speed however you want, with auto mode adjusting the speed according to the temperature in the room you place it in. Turbo mode is perfect for cooling a warm/stuffy room quickly, there’s a natural mode where you can adjust the fan to change to different speeds in the Dreo app.
A custom mode in the app allows you to adjust settings to your liking, and finally a sleep mode that will gradually decrease the speed every 30 minutes until it reaches a lower level of your choosing. I also like there’s an auto and manual timer function should you want to the fan to turn off after a certain amount of time, and a very handy child lock feature to make sure young ones can’t play with the cool touch controls on the fan’s stand.
Those looking for something to take the edge off of warmer weather can’t go wrong with the Dreo Polyfan 704S Omni-Directional Oscillating Fan. It’s everything you could want from a fan and more, thanks to the amazing air circulation power it puts out, being able to make it oscillate in every direction, and all of the neat features it has that blows away anything else.
