After reviewing some of their heaters, air purifiers, and tower fans, Dreo is one of the companies I keep an eye on to release quality devices that also have awesome features. One of their latest is the Dreo CF714S Air Circulator Fan that has everything you could need or want to keep things cool year round.
Upon removing the fan from its packaging, I could tell right away that it features a solid build as it weighs just enough to let you know it’s sturdy, but not so much as to make it cumbersome to move around. I immediately loved the mini LED panel at the base of the fan that shows you info such as what speed, setting, and such you have the fan set to, as I’m so used to standard fans with only a knob or button to adjust settings.
Speaking of settings, there’s nine speeds and six different modes you can choose: Auto which is pretty neat as it’ll measure the air temp like an AC and increase or decrease power to adjust to a desired temperature. A Turbo setting for when you’re trying to cool down a hot and stuffy room quickly, a Normal mode, a Natural mode that simulates a breeze by changing fan speeds based on the temperature, a Sleep timer mode, and lastly a Custom mode you can set with the handy Dreo app.
What I really like about some of these newer fans is how they have different, spiral shaped air funnels that help push air far away from the device. Leave it to Dreo to have one of the most effective designs as this powerful fan can move air up to 110 feet away. It also doesn’t hurt that it features a powerful, acoustically engineered DC motor that’s nice and quiet at 25dB on it’s lowest setting and also doesn’t have any of that humming or buzzing noise you get from most fans that drives me up the wall when trying to sleep.
I also like how you can adjust the fan oscillation from side to side, as well as adjust tilting it up and down either manually on the LED panel, with the handy remote that comes with it, or even with the Dreo app. You can also connect the fan to Amazon’s Alexa and Google Home, and the fan can be opened fairly easy anytime it needs cleaning to keep it running smoothly.
I’ve used my fair share of smaller fans, but the Dreo CF714S Air Circulator Fan is easily the best one I’ve ever used so far. It’s small but powerful, has some nifty features and extras, as well as being quiet and easy to clean that blows away the competition by a mile, well at least 110 feet anyway.
