Howdy partners! On this tender footed episode of the Popzara Podcast we’ve rustled up Cory “Lightfoot” Galliher, Nathan “Cowpoke” Evans and – making her podcast debut –newcomer Evelyn “Highfalutin” Fewster to dialogue and discuss quite possibly the biggest videogame of 2018, by which we mean Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2, a mammoth open-world game set in the old west nearly a decade in the making.

So how does Rockstar’s wildly anticipated follow-up to their 2010 blockbuster hold up? Quite well, as it happens, though it’s an experience not without some tumbleweeds. Together, our editorial posse put the game through its paces, from its sprawling pastures to noticing the smallest details (i.e. realistic horse defecation), including which version of the game is technically superior (spoiler: Xbox One X), but also how PS4 Pro, PS4 and standard Xbox One users should expect quality versions of one of the year’s best adventures.

Can Red Dead Redemption 2 live up to its almost unrealistic built-in hype? Will fans be patient enough to deal with its sugar-slower elements? And just why hasn’t the western genre been as successful in the interactive realm as it once was on the silver screen? Team John Wayne or Clint Eastwood? You’ll have to listen to find out!
