Being a child of the 80s, it goes without saying that I’m a huge Transformers fan. So it was a no brainer I had to request the new Transformers: Limited Edition 6-Movie Collection. Featuring both standard and 4K Blu-rays for each of the five films plus Bumblebee along with digital codes, this is the perfect set to get primed for the upcoming Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
For the small chance you’ve never heard of or seen the recent Transformers films, feel free to check out the reviews for all of them here on the site. There’s Transformers, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Transformers: Age of Extinction, Transformers: The Last Knight, and Bumblebee.
While most fans will tell you the first two are the best and it declines from there until Bumblebee rekindled the spark the film franchise needed, it’s still awesome having all of the films in one massive set.
Speaking of massive, this limited edition collection comes in a cool looking hardcover box with each movie housed in a steelbook case that features some cool artwork for the films. The 4K versions look and sound absolutely amazing thanks to Dolby Vision and HDR-10, as well as Dolby Atmos and Dolby True HD 7.1 sound along with more Dolby options to place you right in the middle of the Autobot and Decepticon conflict.
Each film also contains all of the special features from their previous stand alone releases that include extras such as behind the scenes and the making of the films featurettes, deleted and extended scenes, cast and crew interviews, audio commentaries, and more that will keep you entertained and busy for a long time.
If you’re a Transformers fan or want to see what’s more than meets the eye before Transformers: Rise of the Beasts comes to theaters, you’ll want to roll out and pick up the Transformers: Limited Edition 6-Movie Collection. All of the films look and sound as amazing as they can, come packed with special features, and are housed in awesome steelbook cases and a hardcover box that’s primed for any movie collection.
