Bandai Namco demonstrated a few of their upcoming releases in their massive theater space. This included a pair of new fighters – Jump Force, which collects most of Weekly Shonen Jump’s most popular characters in one giant crossover anime fighting spectacular; there’s shades of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but hey, variety is the spice of life. That and wacky anime crossover battles!
The biggest presentation was, of course, the the much-anticipated fighter Soulcalibur VI, the latter of which had a heavy focus on the guest appearance of The Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia – as well as Divinity: Original Sin 2: Complete Edition, essentially a director’s cut of that excellent RPG.
The biggest surprise might have been at the end of the presentation, though, with the reveal of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. There’s a hardcore fanbase surrounding these titles and there’s bound to be plenty of buzz associated with this latest entry.
