Popzara Ethics Policy

EDITORIAL POLICY:
Popzara is dedicated to following a strict set of guidelines and professional ethics to ensure that any and all content published throughout the website is created – and delivered – under the highest possible standards. We expect all of our staff and contributors to abide by these policies; any content found in violation of this policy will be removed immediately.
Popzara is also a member in good standing of The Society of Professional Journalists and expects the highest levels of professional and ethical behavior from its staff and all contributors.
REVIEW SAMPLES:
We maintain the highest standards in delivering final review assessments to our visitors, which includes a zero-tolerance policy for corruption, payola, and third-party interference. We may receive product samples, digital codes, press invites, and temporary loaner units for review consideration directly from their publishers. These may be directly solicited by our editors, or indirectly by publishers for possible review consideration.
In compliance with FTC regulatory suggestions and basic ethical standards we post this disclosure on every page where reviews are listed. Our final review assessments are based solely on in-depth analysis, testing, and the overall opinions by individual editors and/or team of editors assigned to their respective tasks.
These opinions are those of the assigned editors alone and in no way influenced, directed, or dependent on receiving review samples, both prior or following the publication of any final review assessment. They are also independent of any external affiliate links to purchase the reviewed product or service. Any and all attempts by publishers to influence our final review assessment will be documented and disclosed in the final review assessment.
Our editors are often not located in the same proximity of each other, and may be freelance contributors. All editors are contractually obligated to follow the full policies of these ethical standards, which include non-disclosure and privacy agreements. Those companies or individuals interested in having product or services reviewed by our team may contact us directly for consideration.
ADVERTISING:
The Popzara website features advertising from third-party publishers from a variety of companies and vendors. These advertisements may include standard targeted adwords, SEM (search engine marketing) ads, affiliate programs, reward programs, interstitial placements, or whatever type of clever marketing trick lay in store in the future. We expect all of our third-party liaisons to conduct themselves with the same standards and respect for visitors privacy as we do; if we determine a vendor to be in violation of these standards they will be removed immediately.
NO NATIVE ADVERTISING:
Popzara does not create, produce, or participate in any native advertising programs. All products and services are graded fairly, with final review judgments given on their individual merits alone – as it should be. We reserve the right to publish content created and/or sponsored by third-parties, all of which will be clearly labeled, marked, and distinguishable from proprietary exclusive editorial content. At no time will any Popzara-generated content be influenced, directed, or manipulated by third-parties for financial compensation.
AFFILIATE POLICY/DISCLOSURE:
The Popzara website partners with third-party affiliates for advertising and commission purposes. These affiliations may include links to purchase products and services reviewed or discussed within the website itself, in which case Popzara may receive a commission if the affiliated item is purchased.
