Popzara Podcast A (Pretty Great) Year in Gaming 2017

We gather around the virtual fireplace and discuss the highs and lows of gaming in 2017 and some of what’s in store for next year.

In this cumulative episode of the Popzara Podcast our own Cory Galliher brings in the always stoic Herman Exum and bubbly gamer-girl Nia Bothwell to discuss their personal favorite and standout games of 2017.

Without question, 2017 was fantastic for video games. No matter which console (or PC) you prefer, there was something for everybody. From gripping adventures (Batman: The Enemy Within), fiercely realistic simulators (Forza Motorsport 7, Gran Turismo Sport) or the most critically sensational AAA titles (Zelda: BotW, Super Mario Odyssey, Cuphead), it seemed like game hit after hit was released throughout the year, and we’re here to end things on a high note. Maybe you’d like some Persona 5 after finishing Assassin’s Creed: Origins? You’re in luck!

They’ll also share their likes, dislikes, and unexpected surprises that would make any gamer happy to hold a gamepad. Not only that, they also share their wish lists of titles everyone should be on the lookout for come 2018, because 365 days alone can’t contain all the anticipated games they want to talk about.

So join these three by the virtual fireplace as they wrap up 2017 in a bow and send it off in style! And from all of your friends here at Popzara, we wish everyone a Happy and game-filled New Year!
