Ready for action, the crew is headed to Sin City and their first-ever appearance at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show!

Written by Nathan Evans (managing editor)

2009 is sure to be jam-packed with surprises, but none more shocking and earth-trembling than our meteoric ascension into the world of respectable journalism. The cast and crew of Popzara Press has been working hard since its inception to bring you the tastiest bits and bytes from the ever-converging worlds of electronic entertainment and cultural phenomena, and while we've had our ups and downs, its been an honor bringing this circus to our readers. Apparently someone noticed, as we're being hauled out of our protective womb and into the mainstream with our first-ever showing at this year's International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, baby!

After months of planning, drawing straws, and frantic arm-wrestling bouts all vying for the chance to represent in Sin City, members of the Popzara Press editorial staff will be joining representatives from our parent company, Digital Rising LLC, in cruising the various exhibits and spectacle of the world's largest electronics extravaganza. We're looking forward to meeting with many of our most cherished (aka rapturous, magnificent) supporters, as well the opportunity to manhandle upcoming technological advancements. Speculative sources are abuzz with rumors that top-secret and highly confidential software will be traveling with select editors, which may have necessitated proper security measures from bigger-budget publications.

"We're really excited to finally hit the Las Vegas strip, and looking forward to spending a year's salary on the tables and slot-machines and enjoying a few cheap buffets," said Digital Rising and Popzara Press senior manager Joel Teply in a recent statement. When reminded of his many responsibilities and commitments our fearless leader was a bit more pragmatic. "There's a show happening that weekend, too? Talk about your lucky coincidences!"

Headed to CES? Want to rendezvous with your favorite editor and/or approved substitute? Drop us a line before headed out and we'll perform miracles right HERE!
