The popular sandwich chain trades moves with Konami with the DDR Healthy Kids promotion.

Written by Evan Nathans (editor-at-large)
Its about time that these two got together - eating and dancing! Of
course by eating I mean Subway-brand sandwiches and by dancing some good old
DDR! That's right health nuts, Subway is teaming up with Konami to bring
their ever-popular sensation to the nation with the SUBWAY FRESH FIT FOR KIDS
program. With plenty of fun on the menu (forgive the pun), fans of both
franchises can look forward to six DDR-branded toys with the purchase of a
specially-marked Subway meal.
The program hit Subway restaurants nationwide just after the Christmas
holiday and is scheduled to run until March 29th, plenty of time to gorge a few
hoagies and practice those sweet, sweet moves. How encouraging kids to eat
fatty sandwiches to collect plastic toys encourages an end to childhood obesity
is beyond my pay grade, but kudos to all participants for getting the word out.
Do I smell a Wii Fit-sponsored Happy Meal in the works?
