After months of speculation, Capcom finally makes their devilish move and makes the ultimate bad guy official.

Weaklings!

A few months ago (let's just say late-2007) the word on the street was that Capcom was going to officially pull back the dark, overdue curtain on the next officially numbered game in the famed Street Fighter universe and give the public what it didn't know it wanted.  In this industry sequels come and go, as most franchises have no problem releasing a number 5 or part 13, but even with the endless spin-offs and side adventures the Street Fighter franchise has remained surprisingly conservative on that front.  Each official release has remained independent from another, refusing to merely continue the adventure outright and has been fiercely guarded by the upper crust at Capcom.  The only consistency between releases have been some familiar faces, which to this day remain the bread and butter of the truly classy World Warrior troupe.

The buzz on Street Fighter IV has been magnetic, easily bridging that troublesome generation gap of old and new school fighting fans in this age of silliness, and in a world of crass and unnecessary crossover gimmicks (yes, I'm looking at YOU, Soul Calibur IV and that new Mortal Kombat thing) its refreshing to see this franchise remain focused on its stellar cast.  So whenever the higher-ups send over a nice surprise, its newsworthy stuff.  You've probably seen the action elsewhere, but here's the official plugs from Capcom themselves about the return of one of the most insane and insanely loved characters in that insular world of hadokens and shorykens its nice to see the possibility of some shun goku satsu love coming our way.

UPDATED:  apparently Akuma/Gouki videos are swarming YouTube.  Fingers, get to typing!
