With the most powerful double-punch in recent memory having the distinction of bearing the "Wii..." moniker on their boxes, it looks like Nintendo isn't stopping anytime soon, adding the third official entry to their newest franchise.  Wii Sports Resort, the vacation resort-themed next addition to the popular Wii Sports and Wii Play line of sensations.

Not only does Wii Sports Resort use the recently-announced Wii Motion Plus accessory...it comes with it!  Ala Wii Play, that is, Nintendo will be shipping all copies of their latest party spectacle with the tiny plug-in which will help make some of the more nuanced features of the new title available to players.  Although I'm betting that Disc Dog is going to be a favorite with most, for me its all about the Sword Play...man alive, does that look awesome (is that Soul Calibur music I hear in the background?).

Wii Sports Resort is not just a simple sequel to one of the world's most popular console games, Wii Sports. It is the first title to make use of another Nintendo advance, the Wii MotionPlus accessory, which plugs into the base of the Wii Remote controller to provide an incredibly realistic motion experience.
