Even more singing, blobular action as the first clear screens for the upcoming LocoRoco sequel delight with absurdity.

Puraret dum dum!

LocoRoco 2 is coming!  As if you didn't already know (or was excited...shame on you!), the sequel to 2006's cult-smash puzzler and arguably the PSP's first must-have original title, the singing blobs are ready to entertain and delight us all over again.  If you'll take a gander just below, you'll be treated to the first batch of fun and snazzy screenshots, and while they make look a tad familiar (almost exact), there's no denying the staying power of a good idea when it's all about the happy-happy!

LocoRoco has become one of those game series I don't mind championing, even though I know perfectly well that's its not for everyone.  But then again, many many franchises could you say are?  We've got multi-colored, internationally singing blobs that react and squish to their environment and nary a hint of true violence - yeah, that'll sell to the masses!  As more people discover the beauty and wonder of Kazuhito Miyaki and Tsutomu Kouno's outrageously original little wonder, I'm thinking the possibilities for world peace get that much better.  A true delight, and even if the sequel is more of the same, that only means more of the same awesomeness.  Enjoy the first pictures, and ready yourselves for more blobular action on the PSP soon!!

Arigato to GameWatch for the pix!
