Making sure the 3DS gets some much-needed Mario love, Nintendo is set to release a new chapter in their pancake-flat action-RGP adventure series with Paper Mario: Sticker Star for the handheld. This entry has Mario searching for stickers throughout the land to fight off enemies in turn-based battles using the power of stickers. Yes, stickers.

For example, shoe stickers allow Mario to jump and stomp out baddies, while a hammer sticker lets you use a hammer to literally whack enemies you come across. Other neat features include using some stickers to past obstacles, and being able to peel away the environment to uncover hidden objects.

These awesome new additions along with some of the core mechanics from previous entries, such as manipulating the view to solve puzzles, is sure to make Paper Mario: Sticker Star a 3D treat to remember this holiday season.
