Warner Bros releases four new character posters from the upcoming Green Lantern film. Collect 'em all right here!

Beware my power... Green Lantern's light!

Here's a look at the latest batch of four new character posters for Warner Brothers upcoming Green Lantern film, which is expected to add even more 3D superhero action that fans expect next summer.  On the slate we have Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan / Green Lantern, Blake Lively as Hal's love interest Carol Ferris, Mark Strong as Hal's mentor and soon to be villain Sinestro, and a nearly unrecognizable Peter Sarsgaard as scientist Hector Hammond who becomes exposed to a meteor which causes his intellect and head to grow throughout the film.

As a special treat, the posters each 'lock' together to form the mystical symbol of the Green Lantern corps.  It's a nice touch, and I'm really excited to see how director Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, Edge of Darkness) handles the Green Lantern universe.  With so many superhero movies all vying for our attention these days it'll take a lot for a relatively non-established hero (at least as far as movies go) to grab our attention, and despite the age relative popularity of this character with comic fans, let's hope they pull it off.

Enjoy the posters and look out for some power ring action when Green Lantern leaps into theaters on June 17th!
