Paramount releases a staggering 11 different posters from Nickelodeon's The Last Airbender film.

Bend This!

With just weeks to go until its long-awaited debut, the second movie that could have been labeled Avatar in the last six months is just about to unleash its elemental powers into theaters.  That's right, M. Night Shyamalan live-action take on Nickelodeon's supremely popular The Last Airbender is ready to blast its way into multiplexes across the country.  To help celebrate, Paramount has issued a staggering 11 theatrical posters to help get the masses familiar with the many different characters and their mystical powers.

Filled with the live-action versions of the cartoon's popular characters, these posters showcase just about all the personalitie such as Aang and Prince Zuko battling it out, and even Sokka and Katara backing Aang up. You'll also notice that these posters feature the U.S. as well as international versions of them, which shows just how worldwide this franchise really is. I'm really hoping this film turns out to be a good movie, despite the odd (and racially-questionable) casting choices.  Let's just hope that last bit doesn't overshadow its actual quality, as this could potentially end up becoming a major franchise for the studio.

I'm sure we haven't heard the end of the controversy, but don't let that stop you from enjoying the posters and look out for The Last Airbender to bend it's way into theaters on July 1, 2010!
