Warner Bros has released a new series of monstrous posters from the upcoming mythological remake.

Written by Evan Nathans (editor-at-large)

Titans Will Clash!

Hot off the presses is a series of new posters for the upcoming Clash of the Titans film from director Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk, Transposter) and showcashing his new vision for the 1981 Harryhausen stop-motion classic.  That vision seems to have an awful lot with recent action-epics, particularly 300 and even the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, with an emphasis on CG-monsters and angst-ridden lead actors taking everything so seriously.  Word has it that the popular robotic owl, Bubo, won't be making an appearance in this version...a shame.

Included in this latest batch of hype-stirring theatrical paper is a motley collection of familiar money-shots that should help bring fans of the original film, including the familiar 'Medusa-head hoist' scene (no doubt to thwart the equally-iconic Kraken), and quite possibly the dirtiest version of Pegasus that I've ever seen.  We've come a long, long way since the silky white goodness of the original horse actor!

Clash of the Titans enjoins the battle everywhere on March 26th, and thanks to Yahoo Movies for the poster spectacular!

Based on a premise that only gets progressively less likely the further it goes until it reaches an ending that might as well have been written for a fantasy novel.
