All-new character portraits of Italian vampire royalty for Twilight: New Moon. Collect them all!

Written by Chris Mitchell (associate editor)

Full moon rising?

Here's a first look at some of the more interesting characters from the upcoming Twilight: New Moon film.  Fans of the books will know these characters as the Voturi, a royal vampire family from Italy.  Fortunately (or depending on your inclination, unfortunately) these characters are fully clothed, unlike most of the other characters in the film.  Yet, they still seem filled with that inexplicable teenage angst that has helped make the Twilight franchise so popular with teens, tweens, and practically everyone in-betweens.

While light on Edward and Jacob (sorry girls), featured here are the characters Alec (Cameron Bright), Aro (Michael Sheen), the extremely feminine looking Caius (Jamie Campbell Bower), Jane (played by Dakota Fanning going blonde and having freaky red eye contacts), and Marcus (Christopher Heyerdahl).  While not the leading vampire and wolverine faces mentioned above, fans of the book will have plenty of time to judge for themselves in the cinematic cast can match their literate versions when Twilight: New Moon hits theaters November 20, 2009!

Until then, enjoy the gallery of pics just below!
